In Natural Science our fifth and sixth graders worked on Ecosystems and habitats as well as electricity. To make our lessons more dynamic and appealing they designed their own projects using recycled material. They cooperate in different teams and the students presented their miniatures.

  Les nostres maquetes de Science!

A l’assignatura de Natural Science els alumnes de cinquè i sisè d’Educació Primària van estudiar els ecosistemes i hàbitats així com també l’electricitat. Per fer les nostres sessions més dinàmiques i atractives ells mateixos van dissenyar els seus projectes utilitzant material reciclat. Van treballar en grups I van presentar les seves maquetes en anglès.

Our first graders start to read in English through a funny and dynamic activity. They have to choose a sentence and read it out loud and then they need to find the picture that best describes their sentence. By doing this, we are working on pronunciation and reading comprehension.

During the English lesson, we use the table of the classroom’s library to practise in pairs while the rest of the classmates are working individually. It is also a good resource to improve both their fluency and reading skills in English.

Comencem la lectura “in English”!

Els nens i nenes de 1r comencen a introduir-se en el món de lectura en anglès a través d’una activitat molt divertida. Es tracta d’un joc on han de llegir en veu alta una frase i buscar la imatge que millor la descrigui. D’aquesta manera treballem la pronunciació i la comprensió lectora.

Durant la classe d’anglès, aprofitem la taula de la biblioteca de l’aula i anem practicant per parelles mentre la resta de la classe fa treball individual. També és una bon recurs per aquells que acaben la feina i volen jugar a la vegada que milloren la seva fluïdesa i comprensió lectora en anglès.

Last week, Primary School Students visited l’Auditori Barradas to see different theatre plays.  First and second graders enjoyed “Dinos” an interesting story about a prehistoric family and their adventures. The play for third and fourth graders was “The Teeth, the Mouse and the Monster” a funny comedy about Danny and their fears and the students from fifth and sixth grade saw “The Time Machine” the crazy story of an inventor and their trips to the past and the future.

They all sang, danced and improved their English while they were having a great time. Thanks to Forum Teatre & Educació we could learn English and enjoy with such an interesting experience.

Una visita al teatre 

La setmana passada, els alumnes de Primària van visitar l’Auditori Barradas per veure diferents obres de teatre. Els nens i nenes de primer i segon van gaudir de “Dinos”, una interessant història sobre una família prehistòrica i les seves aventures. L’obra per als alumnes de tercer i quart va ser “The teeth, the mouse and the monster” una divertida comèdia on apareix Danny i les seves pors. I els alumnes de Cicle Superior van veure “The time machine” la boja història d’un inventor i els seus viatges al passat i al futur.  

Tots van cantar, ballar i millorar el seu anglès mentre passaven una bona estona. Gràcies a Forum Teatre & Educació vam poder aprendre i gaudir de l’anglès amb aquesta experiència tan interessant.
